Provides attendees with an opportunity to practice selecting concepts and exemplars for development of a concept-based curriculum. A group list of concepts with related exemplars will be created during this workshop. A concept analysis of a selected concept will expand this interactive experience.

Designing a Conceptual Learning Environment

Gives attendees the opportunity to experientially discover what is unique about conceptual learning and how it can be actualized in the classroom and clinical settings. Small group work will allow participants to develop a concept-focused conceptual learning activity based on a video case study. Co-creation of group norms and strategies that can effectively enhance buy-in of students and faculty will further expand this interactive experience.
