Sue Ellen Bingham, RN, PhD, CNE

Dr. Sue Ellen Bingham had been involved in nursing education for the last 25 years, and has taught in undergraduate, RN to BSN online programs and graduate programs, including the specialty track for nurse educators. Dr. Bingham has also been a site visitor for CCNE since 2004. Her experiences have provided her with a broad view of the accreditation process and insights through observing what schools across the nation are doing to strengthen their programs and the many common problems they face. Her role has also expanded to that of a CCNE Accreditation team leader, a position that requires her to visit various nursing programs requesting accreditation for their programs. As an ATI Nursing consultant, Dr. Bingham looks forward to helping schools go through the process of accreditation, understand what to expect, and how to plan and prepare for the upcoming visit.
